The Four Star Forbes Restaurant, situated in the exclusive Ballantyne Hotel, focuses on dishing American favorites in a contemporary fashion. Executive Chef Timothy Toohey uses the finest quality of meats and seafood. Start the meal with caramelized Vidalia onion soup, and continue on to charcuterie (an assortment of sausages, pâté and duck rillette), the Gallery filet, smoked duck breast and bone-in ribeye. Gallery uses local produce to create a fresh taste for Charlotte guests. If you visit the restaurant on Friday at 6 p.m., be sure to attend the Gallery Bar Tasting for $20 per person.
