Carolina Brewmasters is a non-profit club consisting of more than 200 members, who all share the hobby of making their own beer. Sharing knowledge, creativity and new quirks to this talent, this club meets monthly at Dilworth Neighborhood Grill. Fun competitions go on, as well as other fun activities among the group, checking out everyone’s talents and different methods to brewing. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and helpful in the process so they can help you every step of the way so it isn’t too much to tackle. It seems that you’ll find anything you’ll ever need in your brewing life here. Most prices are reasonable as well, and the staff is very friendly. Alternative Beverage’s advice phone line is also just as helpful. One customer commented calling multiple times within an hour of going through brewing his beer, and they helped him every step of the way, with no problems or frustration with his calls. The staff here cares about helping people learn this talent, and getting it done right.

Custom Home Pubs has everything beer related you’ll need to brew your own beer or just enjoy local-brewed drafts. Located in Matthews, this hot spot will do home deliveries and set up your brewing system for you, or provide the equipment and supplies for you to do it all yourself. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful, and very prompt and welcoming every time. Many end up just hanging out at the shop because it’s a chill spot with couches, as if you were in your own home. This is another great resource for home-brewing supplies and a fantastic spot to learn more about brewing.
