The City of Charlotte sponsors the Curb It! Program. The program which provides curbside recycling for single-family residences as well as multi-family communities with few than 30 units in the City of Charlotte boundaries.

You can drop off your tree here at the Mecklenburg County Compost Central Mulch & Composting Facility. Services are restricted to residents of Mecklenburg County only and operate Monday to Saturday 7am to 4pm.

Mecklenburg County Foxhole Recycling Center and Yard Waste
Although this site cannot accept mixed loads, your Christmas tree, yard waste, construction/demolition debris, and bulky trash are accepted and must be separated from each other prior to coming to the facility. You are also asked to keep yard waste unbagged.

Christmas Tree Drop-off Event – Baxter
Before giving your tree to the Christmas Tree Event-Baxter, please remember to remove all decorations and please do not deposit any plastic bags. Residency may use a dump pass or fees may apply.
