Over 98 acres give you and your leashed dog plenty of places to explore. The park includes a man-made waterfall so you and your pooch can cool down in the spray. This is a huge park complete with its own island, playgrounds, outdoor theater and more. You and your dog will have a blast.

This gorgeous South Charlotte park is a gem for dog owners. There are 107 acres of parkland, complete with sports fields, walking trails and a pond. The park also sports a five-acre off-leash park with pools, benches, shade and even an obstacle course for your dog. This is a spot where Charlotte’s finest often train their K-9s, so you might be able to pick up some tips. Take a trip to try it out.

This stunning park welcomes dog walkers to use its 1.5-mile nature trail, 5K cross country course and the many other amenities. This was one of Charlotte’s first public parks and it remains one of its prettiest. If your dog prefers to be off leash, you can let it loose in Ray’s Fetching Meadow. The dog park even has a doggie rest area for your pooch’s comfort. It’s a relaxing, lush, tree-filled space for you and your best friend.

This tiny park is a hidden gem in the Plaza Midwood section of Charlotte. You and your pup can sniff out all six acres of the park and wander its trails. The paths wander around an outdoor amphitheater, community garden and field. There are playgrounds and sports facilities along with several shady benches. You and your dog will love it.
