Charlotte is a sports-crazy town, and, with the Hornets name returning to the local NBA franchise, basketball is more popular than ever. Fortunately, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation provides plenty of outdoor courts where you can polish your round ball skills and maybe find a pick-up game. Most parks in the county have basketball facilities of some sort (find a complete listing here). However, a few parks stand out with multiple courts, tournament facilities and courts lighted for night play. Select the site for your next basket from our list.
