Children up to 10 years of age will be divided into age groups and given the opportunity to hunt throughout the plantation grounds. There will be live music geared towards children, food, crafts and the chance to check out the live animals that live on the plantation. The Easter Bunny will even make an appearance on a covered wagon. Pre-registration is required and opens March 1, 2014. The cost is $6 per child.

If your children are too blasé for an early morning egg hunt, take them to try out this fun activity in nearby Belmont. Toddlers to 10 year olds are invited to come (with a parent). Make sure they come equipped with their flashlight and an Easter basket. It’s great to search for eggs in the dark. Once the children are done searching, they can use their flashlights as a spotlight when the Easter Bunny makes its appearance.

For only $5 per child, your children (ages three and up) can join a celebration at the Billy Graham Library. The Library puts on a wonderful event that allows the children to celebrate and learn about Easter while petting lambs, crafting and listening to stories.
