The Dog Park at Reedy Creek is affectionately known as Barkingham Park. These 4 acres of fenced-in green grass are a dog’s dream come true. Located in the University Area at 2900 Rocky River Road, Reedy Creek is one of the best Dog Parks in the county. Your dog will love going off-leash in this park. And there are plenty of other activities in Reedy Creek Park if you’re still up for hanging out after your dog has had it’s fun. There are sports fields, basketball courts, picnic shelters, playgrounds and more to entertain the human sort. Just remember to put that leash back on your dog once you leave the designated area.

William R. Davie Park
Davie Dog Park is located in the South Park Region at 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road. With 5 acres of fenced-in park, your dog will love going off-leash at Davie Dog Park. They even have two separated sections for dogs that are over 20 lbs. and dogs under 20 lbs. So, your dog can find a playmate that’s just right for them. There are always plenty of other pups to mingle and play with here. Play a healthy game of fetch or give your dog some frisbee-catching practice or just let them run free with the others. There are also activities for you to enjoy like soccer, basketball and horseshoes. You, and your dog, might just make a new friend.

Swaney Pointe K-9 Park at Ramsey Creek Park
Swaney Pointe K-9 Park is located in Northern Charlotte at 18441 Nantz Road in Cornelius. Ramsey Creek Park is a waterfront park that offers 2 fenced-in areas for the dogs to play – one for large dogs (over 20 lbs.) and one for small dogs (under 20 lbs.). This dog park totals 4 acres of beautiful land to romp and frolic with your dog. And there are always lots of other doggie friends to run with and sniff and bark at. Once your dog has gotten their energy out, you can put them back on the leash and explore the rest of the park. Check out the fishing pier and the playground or even take your boat out for a spin on the water.
