Every dog needs a place to run and play with other dogs. And your backyard is too small or nonexistent for a decent doggie play date. What you need is a Dog Park. A nice, big dog park with lots of grass and trees and other doggie friends to entertain your pup.  And listed below are some of our favorites.
Please note that all of Charlotte’s Dog Parks are open from 7:30am to sunset, 7 days a week. Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation would like to remind you that dogs and owners must follow all posted dog park rules. Please remember, dogs must meet all guidelines and maintain current vaccinations (Rabies with Tag Number, DHLPP & Bordetella) to utilize the off-leash areas.  No children under 12 are allowed in Charlotte Dog Parks.
