A long-time Charlotte tradition, Ovens Auditorium, since staging its first concert in 1955, has attracted nearly 10 million spectators. Hosting shows by a variety of entertainers, from Bob Hope to Bruce Springsteen, Ovens is a 2,404-seat facility that specializes in Southern hospitality. Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday except on event days.
