NC Man Gets 50 Years In Ponzi Scheme

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — An Ashe County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for his role in a Ponzi scheme that prosecutors say had more than 400 victims.

Almost $20 Million Awarded To Victims Of ‘Hebrew Boys’ Ponzi Scheme

About $19 million in 3,800 restitution checks was distributed to victims of the $82 million Ponzi scheme operated by the “Three Hebrew Boys.”
