You have to hand it to the Panthers for figuring out who is to blame for their latest defeat. It wasn’t the offense for failing to get a first down late in the game and it surely wasn’t the fault of the defense that could not stop the Buccaneers not once but three straight times late in the game. That honor went to Justin Medlock, who had the unmitigated gall to miss a field goal with 2:42 left – in the FIRST half.
The dust has now settled on Sunday’s Panther loss, and I am still rubbing my head wondering what happened. Heading into Sunday, the game against the Vikings seemed like a sure win to me.
Now that I have recovered from my Halloween party on Saturday night, I will look ahead to two key SEC games this coming Saturday.
Picture this scenario: Cam and the gang walk out of Sunday’s game 0-2, losing to the Packers 31-20, and Panthers fans are still happy.
