Panthers’ Win Against Eagles Was Costly

Eleven. That is the number of Panthers on injured reserve–an average of one per game. Now, Ron Edwards is the latest to join the not-so-exclusive club. But through it all, head coach Ron Rivera has tried to hold his team together while doing his best to help his young quarterback get through the trials and tribulations of a sophomore campaign.

Cam Newton Shines On National Stage As Panthers Ground Eagles On MNF

So what if Cam Newton was the leading rusher – again? Who cares if special teams was a disaster – again? The Panthers did what they were supposed to and that was hand the Eagles their seventh straight loss and keep some hope alive to at least reach last year’s win total.

Eagles’ Michael Vick And LeSean McCoy out for Monday Night Game Against ‘Healthy’ Panthers

If the Panthers are to get their third win of the season this may be the weekend to do it even though they will be playing on the road. The Eagles are arguably the worst team in the league and things don’t get any better for them with two of their offensive stars sitting this one out.

Dreadful Eagles Host Woeful Panthers In Monday Night Football Tilt In Philadelphia

In any other season it might have been a good game but when the Panthers and Eagles square off Monday night the only people that might be interested in turning on their televisions are those in the Philadelphia and Charlotte markets. The Redskins-Panthers Game Could Predict The Election, But Injuries May Veto A Good Game

The Panthers are a little thin on defense and that does not bode well for them getting their second win of the year against the Redskins. Washington is a little banged up themselves and a win would go a long way to makeing a second half run for a postseason berth.

Good Effort Not Good Enough As Panthers Fall To 1-5 After Loss To Cowboys

The Panthers played one of their better games of the year but in the end they came up short against another struggling team, the Cowboys. The 19-14 loss drops Carolina four games under .500 after just six games and any hope of a postseason berth might have just gone up in smoke.

Dez Bryant Hurting, DeMarco Murray Out; Can Dallas Cowboy-Up Against Banged Up Carolina Panthers?

One team could get their season back on track but the Cowboys have some significant injuries to their offense and special teams. The Panthers are hurting too, but after week off they are focused and ready to go.

Cowboys Hope To Lasso Panthers With Improved Ground Game And Romo To Bryant Hookups

The Cowboys seemed to have found their running game against the defensive minded Ravens and against the Panthers this Sunday it could open new vistas in the passing game now that Tony Romo has found his favorite target. Dallas also has a solid defense and that could create problems for a Carolina team in desperate need of a victory.

Game Report Card: Cam Newton’s Prime-time Debut Falls Flat In Panthers’ 36-7 Loss To Giants

This was not the way to make a first impression. Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers let a banged up New York Giants team walk all over them on their own home turf in their first appearance on Thursday Night Football.
