Why the Sports Guy is driving me out of my mind.
Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan says his team will use purple and teal as its primary colors when it changes its name to the Hornets next season.
Michael Jordan is “The Greatest Player in Basketball History“ and in my opinion “The Single Greatest Athlete of All Time”. He is the “Embodiment of Elegance” and the “Personification of Professionalism”.
NBA legend Michael Jordan believes he could beat LeBron James in a one-on-one basketball game when he was in his prime.
fter a day of discussing it on the air and much careful deliberation, here is my NBA All Time team. Unlike Celania, I am not cheating. Every guy is put in my lineup at their natural position.
Much like ‘Sheed and Z-Bo, Cousins has talent. The kind of talent you make exceptions for. His size and skill are exceptionally rare in an era where most teams concentrate on the perimeter. He’s productive, too, averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds in just his second season in the league. In my opinion, Cousins would be the most talented player to ever wear a Bobcats’ uniform – unless you count Jordan in practice gear.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Charlotte Bobcats have reached an agreement in principle to hire Los Angeles Lakers assistant Steve Clifford as head coach. According to the report, it is a three-year deal with a fourth year for an option.
Steve Clifford is the Latest Charlotte Bobcats head coach. Who? To quote “My Brother from another Mother” QCB: “NEVER HEARD OF HIM!!!” I’ve heard of Clifford Robinson; Clifford Huxtable (Cosby Show Reference); I’ve heard of Clifford the Big Red Dog, but Steve Clifford?
More than defense, this organization has struggled with continuity. Clifford will be The Bobcats’ sixth head coach in 10 years and its fourth since December of 2010. Of the organization’s 10 lottery selections, nine were let go after their rookie deals expired. Only Emeka Okafor received a second contract, and he was traded for Tyson Chandler early in that second contract. Chandler himself only lasted a year in Charlotte.
