Carolina’s secondary is looking a lot better than they did before beating the Giants and that could spell trouble for Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer.
New York has yet to establish any kind of effective ground game so Carolina could see a lot of ball in the air on Sunday.
History is already against Carolina making the playoffs after a 0-2 start, but a win could put everyone back in good spirits.
Carolina is 2-14 in games decided by a touchdown or less in the last three seasons. With Sunday’s one point loss to the Bills, the Panthers front office has to be questioning Coach Ron Rivera.
Not many people knew what to expect when the Chiefs hosted the Panthers on Sunday, because there was nothing to compare it to, but right from the opening drive there was a sense the home team was about to play their best game of the season. Dallas also has a solid defense and that could create problems for a Carolina team in desperate need of a victory.
