This past Tuesday the NFL unveiled the new Nike uniforms for all 32 teams. Most all looked about the same, except for the Seattle Seahawks and our own Carolina Panthers. The new logo is featured, as well as the words, “Keep Pounding” embroidered in the neck line. It was great to see the new look, but what I kept wondering was whether we would see Stewart on a number 28 Panthers jersey this season.

This weekend in sports made me anything but sad. Let us take a quick look at how things went down.
The first half of the season is now behind the Carolina Panthers, and after eight games and the bye they stand at 2-6. Some people are even saying the Panthers are the best 2-6 team they have ever seen.
As I was making my picks, I couldn’t help but think how good some of the games coming up this weekend are. Then I came to the Monday Night game: Indianapolis Colts against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This game sounds terrible, which prompted me to ask, should the NFL flex Monday night games?
After three weeks of NFL games, we still have a lot to figure out. Who is contending, and who is pretending?
Week One of the NFL is in the books, the NCAA has two weeks under its belt, and I am ready to give my take on the games. With it still being so early in the season, it’s hard to read a lot into what has happened so far – but I’m never one to hold back my opinions on most anything.
