Nine years after leading the North Carolina men’s basketball team to a national championship, Williams returns to the Tar Heel state as a member of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.

Panthers Sign OT Chandler, 2 Others To Extensions

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Panthers have extended the contracts of offensive tackle Nate Chandler and two other players.

Chandler, who’s competing with Byron Bell for the starting left tackle spot, received a three-year contract extension. Defensive end Mario Addison and safety Colin Jones received two-year contract extensions.
