NC State’s Yow Undeterred By Frustrating Season

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State athletic director Debbie Yow knew it would not be easy to build the Wolfpack into one of the nation’s best overall sports programs. She was neither surprised nor deterred then when the Wolfpack’s steady climb hit a bump during the 2013-14 season.

Ex-Learning Specialist Files Lawsuit Against UNC

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The former North Carolina learning specialist who questioned the literacy level of Tar Heels athletes and said UNC had committed academic misconduct has filed a civil lawsuit against the school.

NC Employee Union To Admit College Student-Athletes

The State Employees Association of North Carolina has voted unanimously to admit student athletes from all 17 of the state’s public institutions of higher education.
