Patriots Team Grades: Super Bowl Hopes End With AFC Championship Loss To Broncos

The 2013 New England Patriots overachieved this season, but they couldn’t overcome a powerful Denver Broncos squad in the AFC Championship Game.

Chargers Close Door On Solid Season, Set Sights On AFC West In 2014

While their record may not show it, the San Diego Chargers turned in a rather solid season when you take a look back at the 2013-14 campaign.

Patriots Defense Needs Big Game Against Broncos In AFC Championship Game

Both Patriots Nation and Broncos Country are looking forward to Brady/Manning XV. The rest of the planet will probably enjoy the game, too.

Bolts Look To Defy Odds Two Weekends In A Row

Being the sixth and final seed in the NFL playoffs usually means you’re a sizable underdog. When it comes to the San Diego Chargers, that holds true a second weekend straight.

Odds Against Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos This Week

The Denver Broncos are arguably the best team in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to win this week. In fact, many stats show Peyton Manning and his Broncos are more likely to lose than win, as the No. 1 seed against the No. 6 seeded San Diego Chargers.

Panthers Notch Their First Three Game Streak Since 2009

It was a day not fit for man nor beast, and that was just the yellow flags that were raining down on their heads. A plethora of personal fouls ruined an otherwise boring game but in the end the Carolina Panthers did something no one thought possible a few short weeks ago and that was matching last year’s win total.

Without Seymour, Raiders Left Defenseless Against ‘Healthier’ Panthers

Defense has not been a trademark of the 2012 Raiders, having given up 402 points in 14 games, so it will be no surprise if they add to that inflated number this weekend. Pro Bowl defensive tackle Richard Seymour has somehow stayed on the active roster all season, despite missing the last six contests, and he will be out again when his team tries to slow down the recharged Panthers.

Offense Challenged Raiders Ripe For The Picking In Panther Final Home Game Of 2012

The world did not come to an end as the Mayans had predicted, so that is good news for the Panthers as they get to play a downtrodden Raiders team on Sunday to close out their home schedule. After a brutal start to the season, Carolina is one win away from matching their record from a year ago and have a chance to better it with one game remaining on the docket.

Panthers Late Season Surge Continues After Convincing 31-7 Win Over Chargers

The Panthers are playing the way many expected them to early in the season so one might say it is better late than never. If fans thought their team played a well rounded game against the Falcons last weekend, the whooping they put on the Chargers on Sunday was as good, if not better.

Trying To Stay Playoff Relevant, Chargers Could Be Getting Hobbled Panthers At Right Time

The way they have been playing of late the Panthers were probably looking forward to taking on the reeling Chargers. That is, until the Friday injury report put them behind the eight-ball with eight starters on it, three definitely out and possibly two more ready to join them.
