Tony “The Hitman”
An avid Chicago Cubs and sports fan growing up, Tony “The Hitman” from WFNZ’s The Drive With Taylor Zarzour & Marc James, took his love for sports to the next level. While in college in Chicago, he decided that not only did he live and breathe the sports world; he wanted to make a living talking about it. Upon graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, Tony began his career with CBS Radio producing at WMAQ 670 AM in Chicago on the “WMAQ Sports Huddle.” In 1999, He parlayed his love for the sports entertainment world locally in Chicago and took his skills to the national level; co-hosting, executive producing and talent booking for the national network Sporting News Radio. For the next 8 years, “The Hitman” would lend his skills to nationally recognized shows such as “The James Brown Show,” “The Tony Bruno Show” and “The Tim Brando Show.” For the last 4 years, Tony “The Hitman” has lent his fully loaded rolodex, excellent production skills and his on-air flair for the dramatic to The Drive. From his obsession with Cubs baseball, his passion for golf and the NFL to his disdain for the North Carolina Tar Heels, “The Hitman” has fit right into the Queen City!
