Taylor has worked as a broadcaster all across the fruited plain, starting as a sports reporter for WEAR TV in Pensacola, Fla., in 2000-01. From there he went on to host the Morning Show for Sports Radio 560 in Nashville, Tenn., for a year, before returning home to Mobile where he served as the Program Director and Afternoon Host for Sports Radio 105.5 until 2004.

Before coming to 680 WPTF, Taylor hosted the pre and post game shows for football and men’s basketball for the Tar Heel Sports Network in addition to being the play-by-play voice of Carolina’s women’s basketball team.
It took me awhile, but I’m a firm believer in the 2013 Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton. These past two wins against playoff teams, and the poise that Newton has played with under pressure have proven to me that they are legitimate contenders. Panthers fans need to prepare for games in January.
The Charlotte Bobcats have won two in a row to improve to 3-2 on the season, while the 5-3 Carolina Panthers have blown out four straight opponents.

Game 1 of the NLCS between the Cardinals and Dodgers starts just after 8pm on TBS. I’ve never thought of the boys in LA as “Americas Team” but given the recent success of the Cardinals, it feels like most people would like to see the Dodgers win the series. I expect them to get it done in 6 games.
I’m convinced the Carolina Panthers won’t become a playoff contender until Jerry Richardson no longer owns the team
The Georgia – LSU game on Saturday was what college football in the Deep South is all about. Unrivaled passion, pageantry, talent, and atmosphere. Anyone that tells you that there is something better simply hasn’t experienced SEC football, or they’re living in denial.

I wanted the Panthers to go after Chip Kelly at the end of last season and I believe he would’ve taken the job. My mind was running wild watching Michael Vick run his offense last night.
