Mark was born in Gastonia, NC on August 14th, 1967. He graduated from Hunter Huss High School in 1985 and from Appalachian State University in 1990 with a BS in Communications. Mark has been employed at 610am for 22 years, joining the station 1 month after coming on air. He is convinced that music in the 80′s blows away ANYTHING else away.

It is October and we are just coming off an incredible week in college football that saw 5 of the top 8 teams in the AP Poll lose. We are seeing an NFL season so far, even though perhaps overshadowed by the negative, be unpredictable from week to week.
Of course it had to end that way. What other way could Derek Jeter’s home career with the Yankees have wrapped up besides the way we saw it unfold on Thursday night at Yankee Stadium.
