Chris “Mac” McClain
Mac grew up in York, Pennsylvania and was a sports fan from the moment he popped out of the womb. He started his radio career when he called a sports radio show at the age of 7 and got hung up on by the host. He graduated from Towson University outside of Baltimore. Mac has done radio for CBS Sports, XM Satellite Radio and locally in Jacksonville and Baltimore before coming to Charlotte. He has been with The Fan since 2004 and lives in Wesley Chapel with his wife, Kristina and their two little ones, Aidan and Kaitlyn.

Last nights UNC-State game was a classic. We saw two great players go at it in a big time duel. Some great effort. Awesome crowd. And, of course some drama from the refs. These are a few of my takeaways from last night’s tilt.
