A lifelong Tar Heel fan and North Carolina resident, Colin first interned at WFNZ over a decade ago. A proud graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, he still hasn’t forgiven CMS schools for robbing him of the chance to play hoops with Antawn Jamison. After a wildly successful college radio career at Appalachian State, Colin went into the United States Air Force. After training, Colin was stationed at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, NC where he worked with the 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons AKA The Flying Tigers. Colin’s unabashed love for all things North Carolina is matched by his affection for the “most bad***” aircraft, the A-10. Colin lists the Tar Heels, Panthers, Bobcats, and Reds as his favorite teams.
Colin joined WFNZ in 2008 and the Mac Attack in September of 2009.

In the past twelve months, the Panthers have fired their long time GM, traded a defensive leader, and according to at least one report are well on their way to conducting a search for their new head coach. Excluding owner Jerry Richardson, the Panthers have been in the process of overhauling the heads of all facets of the team, except one.
