The center-hung video box displays the scores of some of the country’s most exciting sporting contests, while showing live video of current performances and entertainment. The scoreboard is also the most technologically advanced scoreboard and sound system in the country and features the largest video screen in use in any NBA facility. It is a full-screen LED device that provides unlimited configuration of live and recorded video, scores, animation and graphics. There is also a three-dimensional back lit cityscape above the scoreboard, which features the Charlotte skyline and uses a 360-degree projection system that allows the skyline to change.
