The Charlotte International Auto Show will kick off the year with a Preview Night benefiting Levine Children’s Hospital. The annual evening, which will be held, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Charlotte Convention Center, will allow attendees to be the first to view the 2012 models with style, flair and excitement! The Charlotte International Auto Show has joined forces this year, with the Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH), which was recently named one of the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News and World Report. The hospital offers the most comprehensive care and the latest in treatment options between Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC. This year, attendees will be treated to the latest in automobile technology as well as the showcasing of the new electric vehicles! A variety of hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will round out the evening of fun as well as the opportunity to network with some of Charlotte’s most prominent car enthusiasts!
Each year, the Charlotte International Auto Show features specialized and signature events and this year will be no exception! The specialized events give car enthusiasts more information, details and fun when it comes to cars! The Charlotte International Auto Show is offering a Ride and Drive program with Hyundai! This event allows show participants an opportunity to get behind the wheel of various models and take these cars, trucks and crossovers for a drive! November 20th is Family Day! Team Mascots such as Carolina Panthers’ Sir Purr, Charlotte Bobcats’ Rufus,
Charlotte Checkers’ Chubby and Charlotte Knights’ Homer will all be at the show on Sunday. There is also a scheduled appearance from Santa and Mrs. Clause! Live music, face painting and clowns will round out a day of fun and merriment for the whole family! Other events include: “Free Buyer’s Guide”, “The Special Wax” and “The Special Flags.”
The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association
The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association was founded in 1963 by a group of 15 Charlotte auto dealers.
The Association, today, is a group of 100 members that is comprised of dealers in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association dealers employ more than 8,000 people and provide support within their given communities through charitable involvement. With such charitable endeavors including the D.A.R.E. Program, the Police Athletic League, Boy Scouts, Do The Right Thing, the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs and the Charlotte Observer Charities, the Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association makes it the objective to “drive” into giving and helping when needed!
