Charlotte Oktoberfest, presented by the Carolina BrewMasters, is the premier beer festival in NC. Over 300 local, regional, national, international and even homebrewed craft beers to sample will be “on tap” as well as activities food, trade shows and so much more! And the best part about Charlotte Oktoberfest? The fest contributes nearly all of the festival proceeds to local charitable organizations! This year’s beneficiaries include: Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, Humane Society of Charlotte and the Carolina Raptor Center!
The Charlotte Beer Girls!
What is an event with beer… without the Charlotte Beer Girls? I will tell you… not an event at all! The Charlotte Beer Girls are the premiere group that helps raise money for local charities. The girls have already helped raise more than $1,000 for charities in the Charlotte area! As the “Official” Charlotte Oktoberfest Beer Girls, the women provide life,laughs and love to the event! Their fun personalities coupled with those warm spirits turn any event into a fun and festive one! The Live Music!
The Charlotte Oktoberfest will feature the best in live music from regional as well as local artists! This year’s line up features: the Amy Broome Band, U-Phonik and The New Familiars! These groups have toured throughout several regions and offer the best in a variety of music! From Rock & Roll to Country as well as a plethora of original hits… there will be no shortage of fantastic sounds coming from these premiere bands!
The Charlotte Oktoberfest Brewers!
So… in order to have a beer festival, you need beer,right? the Charlotte Oktoberfest will feature some of the best breweries that offer premium and quality beer! These breweries are also award-winning and offer signature beers!
As an Oktoberfest Volunteer, not only can you expect to help and assist, but you can be assured a great time as well! As a volunteer, you can expect: a full day of work with numerous breaks to enjoy the festival, access to the Volunteer Lounge for free food and refreshments, a collectible Charlotte Oktoberfest sampling glass AND a commemorative Charlotte Oktoberfest Volunteer T-Shirt and free parking at the event! There are also other perks that are just too numerous to mention! All volunteers MUST attend the Mandatory Training Meeting on either Tuesday night October 4th or Thursday night October 6th from 7 PM-8:15 PM and you must be 21 years or older! Need more info? Tickets for Charlotte Oktoberfest always go fast! Premium ticket holders get access to the festival one hour earlier than general admission ticket holders (1:00pm as opposed to 2:00pm). For the true connoisseur of fine beer, the festival is available for premium and quality beer before the general public has access to it! Information You Need To Get Your ‘Brew’ On!
The Charlotte Oktoberfest Date, Time & Place:

This is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be given for any reason.
All ticketed attendees must be 21 years old or older – a valid state issued ID is required for admission. No one under 21 will be allowed in the festival due to liability.
Absolutely no concealed weapons are allowed – it’s the law. Anyone found in possession of a concealed weapon will be immediately removed from the festival. No refund will be given.
No pets are allowed.
While blankets and small lawn chairs are welcome, no coolers or similar containers are allowed. No outside food or beverages can be brought into the festival.
Early arrival to the festival is HIGHLY recommended, for the best possible selection of beers!
Safe Transportation Alternatives:
CATS Bus Service: Take the bus, route 7S travels to and from the Transportation center and stops almost directly across from the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo at stop Statesville Rd 7349. It arrives at that stop at approximately 12:13 and every 40 minutes after that. Of course schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check with the CATS service closer to the festival date. Shuttle service: From Baxter Village in Fort Mill, there is a party bus for you and 200 of dearest friends! visit: this website for more information!
RVs & Motor Home: A fee of $15 per night includes water/electrical hookup up to 30 amps. There is a dumping station on site but there are no direct hookups. Contact the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo to make arrangements at 704-569-4650.
Parking: Parking is free and you can take a cab and park overnight. Your car will not be towed. Please make sure to take valuables with you!
