NoDa has quickly become one of the hottest neighborhoods in Charlotte. Located on and around North Davidson Street, NoDa is officially Charlotte’s Historic Arts District. With numerous art galleries, funky shops, hip bars and restaurants you can’t walk through this neighborhood without being creatively inspired. On any given evening you’ll find the streets crawling with people who have come for the music, the food, the art or just the company of the neighbors. Gallery Crawl

NoDa is home to several art galleries. In fact, you won’t find this many art galleries in any other neighborhood in Charlotte. And they’re all within walking distance of each other.

The first and third Friday of every month is Gallery Crawl. A very casual “open house” of sorts to all businesses in the area. Wander in the galleries, peruse the art, buy a painting if you wish, have a beer at a nearby pub, catch a live musical street performance, grab a slice of pizza, check out the vendors who’ve set up shop on the sidewalks. All in all, enjoy the culture of NoDa and the talent of it’s people.

Live Music

Live music is a staple in NoDa. You can’t walk down the street without hearing the strains of a guitar riff or a lingering voice drift out into the night breeze. Many local musicians get their start playing the stages of NoDa. But it’s not just local music they’re pushing. Plenty of established, nationally-reknown bands and soloists have graced NoDa with their music talents as well.
