Host Of On The Beat #KeepRiveraWhen Rivera accepted the job of the Panthers, he was given more than just a job title. He was given a plate of awful contracts, players that couldn't play and a GM that hamstrung him. Not a soul in the NFL wins under those exact same conditions. I'm not sure we truly know what he offers as a coach, motivator and leader. One more year, with a new GM that may go after free agents and that can draft better, seems reasonable and fair.

The Drive Producer #KeepRiveraGetting rid of the head coach now puts us back another 3 years.
It also costs us a few million to pay him out of his contract.
I say keep him one more year if he does have a winning record for the 2nd half of the year.
If not it's time to look for another coach.

Co-Host of The Drive #FireRiveraThe only way Ron Rivera stays is if the Panthers can rally to win 7 of their Final 9 Games which will not happen. A New General Manager usually means New Head Coach.
DJ 'The Suit' Stout
Operations Manager #FireRiveraThe only case I can make would be if the team finished by getting to .500 and I don't see that happening. He is not a head coach.
