Mom Says She Was Arrested For Saying ‘F-Word’ In Front Of Kids At Grocery Store
CHARLOTTE (CBS Charlotte) – A South Carolina woman was arrested after dropping an “F-Bomb” in front of her children, reports WJBF-TV.
Police were called to a Kroger in North Augusta by a witness who said Danielle Wolf was repeatedly yelling at her children to “stop squishing the f***ing bread,” according to the incident report.
Wolf was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
But she tells WJBF-TV she did not do anything wrong and was shocked when confronted by a woman she saw followed her family in the store. “She’s like, ‘you said the f-word’, and I’m like, ‘when did I say this to my kids?'” said Wolf.
Wolf said she tried to explain anything she said was not directed at her children.
“She’s like, ‘you told that they were smashing the bread’, and I said ‘no’ I said that to my husband, that he was smashing the bread by throwing the frozen pizzas on top of it,” said Wolf.
She tells the station getting arrested was humiliating.
“He was like, ‘You’re under arrest’…right in front of kids, in front of my husband, in front of customers.”
The female witness said that hearing Wolf use those words brought her back to her abusive childhood.
