Viral Videos of professional sports athletes have been going crazy the past few weeks as they dump ice buckets on their head in support to help Stomp Out ALS in their communities.

Using the #ALSIceBucketChallenge on social media, your favorite athletes keep challenging themselves to dump chilling water on their head in hopes to bring more awareness to Lou Gehrig’s Disease & donate money to the non profit organization.  ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.

Check out a few of our favorites so far…

Patriots WR Julian Edelman was one of the first NFL players to be challenged to help Stomp Out ALS.

Our rival New Orleans Saints coaches and QB Drew Brees accepted the Ice Bucket Dump, which even had Brees do a muddy slide at training camp into the cold water dump.

Another Panther rival QB Matt Ryan takes the cold liquid plunge as well as WR Roddy White who wore a shower cap & screamed like a little girl.

The entire New England Patriots team including GM Robert Kraft took the Ice Bucket Challenge

The NFL Commish Roger Goddell gets cold & wet and challenges Pete Carroll and Michael Strahan

Head coach Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks takes the challenge and nominates the other 3 head coaches in the NFC West.    Let’s just say people should nominate NFL Cheerleaders more often!

Even hockey players are accepting the challenge, and taking it to new heights!
