There Is Still Some Good In The NFL
With the preseason underway in the NFL, most of the attention will begin to drift away from the negative off the field stories and back onto the field with qb battles, this rookie is going to star in the league, and of course will Manziel start.
I have discovered that there is however still a lot that is good with the NFL besides what we see on the field.
After a week of endless Ray Rice/Roger Goodell discussion, the league had some shining moments at the Hall Of Fame ceremonies in Canton.
What a great moment when Jim Kelly tossed one more pass to his new inductee former teammate Andre Reed.
Then a trip down to Panthers Training Camp gave me a chance to talk to various players who could not have been more cordial and accommodating with their time and seemed that they got it when it came to being a pro.
This does not mean that things are not going to continue to pop up from time to time, it is just going to happen.
But it also doesn’t mean that the entire league should be painted with the same brush.
