I firmly believe that FSU QB Jameis Winston will be widely regarded as the best ACC Player of All Time after this season.

He will win another NCAA Title, becoming the first QB to do that in ACC history.

He will also be the first QB to have 2 seasons of 40 or more TDs and over 4000 yards passing in the conference too. He will then head to the NFL and be the #1 pick.

Who does he have to catch to pull off this feat? Maybe these guys (in no particular order)…..

Dre Bly-UNC DB- 3 time All American. 20 interceptions in his 3 year career. And, was a big part of some real good UNC Defenses.

Phillip Rivers- State QB- Over 13,000 yards passing. 4 winning seasons including an 11 win year. And the program couldn’t recover from losing him.

Luke Kuechly BC LB- Not a homer pick at all. Luuuuke was a 3 time All ACC player and a 2 time All American. Left college as the 2nd all time leading tackler in NCAA history.

Charlie Ward FSU QB- The man Jameis is chasing in FSU lore. Won a Heisman and a national Title at FSU. Dual threat QB passed for 49 TDs and ran for 10.

Randy White – Maryland DL- Won the Outland a Lombardi trophies in 1974 when he had 12 sacks. The “Manster” was also the ACC Player of the Year that season.

Julius Peppers UNC DE- Pep had 30.5 sacks and 53 tackles for loss in his 3 year career at UNC. Might be the best “pure athlete” to ever play in the conference.
