We start close to home here in Charlotte as the Panthers are preparing to head down to Spartanburg to start their training camp. Frank Schwab of the Yahoo! NFL Shutdown Corner blog, and who also correctly predicted the Panthers’ NFC South Championship a season ago, examines on what we can expect from Cam and the gang for 2014-2105. You can read his piece here and also listen to his interview tomorrow as he will appear on Bustin’ Loose with Frank Garcia at 12:30.

Secondly, we’ll stay close to home again, somewhat — Las Vegas — to discuss the hometown Charlotte Hornets. Although the loss in the semifinals to the Houston Rockets was disappointing, CBS NBA Writer, Matt Moore, got a chance to speak with Cody Zeller and Noah Vonleh as their time in Vegas came to a conclusion, and he highlights some of their conversation here, Take a look to see why he believes the future of the Hornets’ frontcourt is bright.

Wrapping things up here on evening edition of “Monday’s Must Reads”, ESPN Big 12 writer, Jake Trotter, breaks down the comments from Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby, in which he criticizes the NCAA in their enforcement policies and says that under the current NCAA it pays to cheat. And he wasn’t done there either. Read Bowlsby’s comments here as he ripped even further into the NCAA earlier today at BIG 12 Media Day. We’ll also discuss this topic tomorrow on The Call up with Colin and Nate.

Oh yeah, and if you haven’t heard, “Riverboat” Ron Rivera is now on Twitter. Follow him @RiverboatRonHC
