Top 5 Biggest Bandwagon Celebrity Sports Fans
Celebrities love to be seen and heard at every sporting event. From music artists and actors to even other athletes, these super stars typically pull for their favorite teams growing up or for teams where they are living currently.
But we’ve compiled our list of the most infamous celebrity bandwagon sports fans that rep any team they feel like at the time.
Which one do you think is the biggest bandwagon fan?
5.) Ric Flair
WOOOOOOOOO! This former professional wrestler has been an avid fan of sports in Charlotte, NC, including the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Bobcats, but his playoff speech with the San Francisco 49ers burned bridges in the Queen City as he said that he’s a lifelong fan of the 49ers.
4.) Kim Kardashian
The reality TV queen of the Kardashian empire has been showing up to numerous sporting events based on who she is currently dating. From Brooklyn Nets, Detriot Lions, and Dallas Cowboys, she’ll show up to any game just for more exposure. Currently, she’s making her rounds at Lakers and Clippers games with husband Kanye West. Do you think she ever watches the games?
3.) Lil Wayne
Louisiana native Weezy has been seen reppin’ numerous teams including the Chicago Bulls, OKC, and Lakers gear even when those teams aren’t even playing. He is also a LA Dodgers and SF Giants fan, and for some reason has always been a Green Bay Packer fan for life.
2.) Justin Bieber
Our favorite infamous artist from Canada has been known to make numerous appearances courtside at NBA games, but more known for his Clippers hat and leather shirt during the Pacers/Heat playoff game. He’s known to rep Orlando Magic and Miami Heat hats, or basically any swag hat he likes. Plus, he shows his allegiance to both the LA Kings and Chicago Blackhawks.
Drake is another powerhouse artist from Canada, but he makes the #1 spot for his wide range of being a band wagon fan. First, he is a part-owner of the Toronto Raptors and shows his love of the team everywhere he goes…and it should end there but it doesn’t. He also reps Miami Heat and LA Clippers gear when out. And being from Toronto, he’ll support the Blue Jays in his clothing but also rep the Houston Astros. And what’s worse is that he delves into college sports. At the NCAA Championship games, he was cheering for and wearing Kentucky Wildcat gear, but as soon as they lost, he was taking pictures with UConn coach Ollie and hanging in the UCONN locker room. Plus, he loves Texas A&M now that his new BFF Johnny Manziel is from there. Stick with your Toronto teams Drizzy.
