A new day, a new era on WFNZ. The Call Up With Nate and Colin, weekdays 10am-12pm.

Nate Conley
As a sports fan growing in the Boston and the New England area, for Nate Conley Sports Radio has always been an integral part of the fabric of his sports experience. After attending Gordon College on the North Shore of Boston, Nate spent just over six years serving in the U.S. Army. He served overseas in Iraq from 2007-2008. Upon completion of his military service, he moved to Charlotte in order to attend the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

Nate pursued a career in the radio broadcast industry and was able to earn an internship at The New 1037 on the Tanner in the Morning Show. Nate was offered the opportunity to then work at Sports Radio 610AM WFNZ as the Audio Roadshow coordinator. This was an incredible position for Nate, as sports radio is his passion! Nate was eventually able to become Executive Producer of the WFNZ midday show “Bustin’ Loose” with Frank Garcia and Mark Yarbro. Nate developed a consistent role and voice on the show, and this has led him to his dream job, hosting a sports talk radio show here in Charlotte!

Nate couldn’t be more excited to take this next step in his broadcasting career.

Colin Hoggard

Colin first moved to Charlotte, with his family, in 1994. A proud South Meck Sabre, it was during his junior year in 1998, he first interned with WFNZ. After high school, he attended Appalachian State University. Colin left school to enter the Air Force in late 2001, where he served as an analyst for the “Flying Tigers” (A-10s) at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, NC. Colin twice deployed in support of both OIF and OEF. After his time in the USAF, Colin returned to Charlotte and has been with WFNZ since 2008. During his time at WFNZ, Colin has served as a producer/contributor for the Mac Attack, hosted the WFNZ pre-game show, been the voice of the Charlotte High School Rivalry Series for three years, covered the Charlotte Hornets and hosted the Weekend Warriors. Colin married the girl of his dreams, Becky, in 2013.
