Team Injuries

When your team is drafting 28th,  it is a lot harder to zero in on one player and end up happy than it is if your team is picking top 10.     So, I am trying not to obsess over one guy (although I have admitted to dreaming about Marqise Lee).  Here are a few guys I would like to see in Blue and Black.

1) Marqise Lee- WR- USC- Over 1700 receiving yards in 2012.  At that point he was held in similar regard to Sammy Watkins.  His numbers were down big time last year, but that is easily explained by his knee injury and USC’s terrible QB play.   If he stays healthy, I believe he can be a true #1 WR.  He is quick , gets separation and is good after the catch.  Could be Cam’s best friend for years to come.

2) Morgan Moses- OT Virginia- He is a big, big dude and many scouts love that size (6’6 315).  He struggled with weight issues and his play early on at UVA, but excelled when moved to LT last season.  Seems to be the best bet to be a 10 year Panther LT in this draft.  But, will he be there?  And, do the Panthers even like him?  There are reports they don’t.

3) Cody Latimer- WR Indiana- I thought about putting Brandin Cooks here, but Latimer has grown on me. He is 6’3 220 and runs close to a 4.40.  He can run to get open and after the catch.  Goes up and competes for the ball. And, he is very willing to block.  You could do worse than Latimer at #28 if your the Cats.
