Man Dies After Being Pinned Against Tree By A Rolling Car
INMAN, S.C. (AP) — Spartanburg County authorities are investigating the death of an Inman man who had been pinned against a tree by a rolling car.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 32-year-old James Bryan Green was found shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday.
Clevenger says it appears Green’s car was in neutral and began to roll and he tried to stop it with his body. The coroner says Green was pinned against a tree but managed to free himself.
He was found unresponsive near the car.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. David Jones said troopers are investigating the death.
An autopsy was planned Friday.
