Lean National NFL Writer For Bleacher Report Aaron Nagler Talks About The NFL Schedule Release.  Will the Panthers beat their Vegas prediction on 7.5 wins?

The schedule is out and fans are even more excited. “When you’re an insane fan of a team…its like following a great story.” People now go through the schedule and make their predictions and the NFL knows this and that’s why the sport is what it is.

“They sale hope better than anybody.”

Vegas has set the predictions so will the Panthers make the mark of 7.5 wins, blow past it or fall well short and is there a player that could change the expectations that change what the Panthers may be looking at?

Aaron gave us the take of what he foresees for the Panthers schedule:

“ 28th who knows, more than anything they need a left tackle….I don’t see a guy in that range of the draft.” Gettlemen will let the draft fall to him.”

You don’t see this organization reaching of making that type of jump move to get a overwhelming guy. “Gettlemen will let the draft fall to him.”

They will continue to do well in the draft and make the moves they need to make.

This team has had their slow starts and that’s something you don’t want to see out of your team but with Cam’s ankle you don’t know if the continuity is going to be there and that is what you look at in the early part of the schedule.

“Its going to take some time for that offense to gel……other than the Lions you don’t see an offensive powerhouse….its a great slate for the Panthers.”

Now with Steve Smith and Jordan Gross gone, the leadership of this team is what everyone is talking about; Cam is going to have to take the spot. Most of the foreshadowing is that Cam is ready and more than willing to do this.

“He’ll be ready to lead and put this team on his back, management has made it clear that’s what he has to do.”

The team has changed and at times new players make the team completely different and other times its the veterans that shake things up; this has been the case in the offseason for the Panthers.

You have players out there that make two different teams better and Steve Smith fits that role for both of these teams.

“Its where he is in his career, he absolutely helps Baltimore…he’s going to move the chains and help Joe Flacco, flip it around in Carolina clearly they were ready to move on.”
