Nightlife: Best Restaurants & Bars To Go Before Or After Charlotte Knights Games
The Charlotte Knights are going to be opening BB&T Ballpark Friday. So as you get ready to enjoy some great baseball under the sky scrapers; here is a list of places to go and enjoy some grub before or after the game.
Now for those of you that don’t know the “NEW” ballpark is located almost right next to Bank Of America Stadium. To be exact BB&T Ballpark is located at (324 South Mint St).
Yeah the ballpark is a place to sink your teeth into history and bite down on a hotdog, but there is more out there. Not that there is anything wrong with a hotdog at a baseball game, I mean really they go hand and hand. But with the great options you have after the game don’t sale yourself short. Maybe the best thing to do is have a two-part-system. Enjoy the classic “hotdog” at the game but maybe have it a little early so you can hit up one of the many great restaurants right near the ballpark after.
For that we have you covered, within a stone’s throw are several places to dine, enjoy and savor.
Below is a handful of places that may just fit your craving:
French Quarter Restaurant: 321 S. Church St. Charlotte, NC (704) 377-1715
Bringing you a taste of Greece you can get some of the favorites like: Cajun Pasta, Corn Beef Sandwich, Monte Cristo, Great Appetizers and a must see bar menu.
Mellow Mushroom: 255 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., (704) 371-4726
Anything with Mellow in the title is a place I have to be; great pies and great beer choices.
Valhalla Pub & Eatery: 317 S. Church St. Charlotte, NC (704) 332-3273
At Valhalla Pub & Eatery, you will enjoy great sandwiches, shrimp, and appetizers that will blow your mind. OH yeah, the bar that’s why they have “pub” in the name!
Picasso’s Sports Café: 222 S. Church St. Charlotte, NC (704) 376-8767
What is a baseball game without a sports bar. Great atmosphere, you have a selection of pizza that is second to none.
There are so many options and that is what makes this a great location for a night out at the ballpark. You can enjoy a nice steak at Ruth’s Chris or some Sushi from K.O. Sushi; the point of this is just to show you that a night at the ballpark can be so much more. You have the chance to enjoy some great baseball under the lights and some great restaurants before or after the game in a great city. Go and Enjoy!
