Former Bobcat player and current Bobcats radio analysst, Matt Carroll, joined the Mac Attack to discuss the Cats playoff push, Coach Clifford, losing seasons and his playing days.

On the closeness of this team: They have a special group. The chemistry is off the chart and it carries over on to the court. You have guys on this team (Al, Kemba, and Gerald) that guys gravitate to, and they’re good guys. It creates a great atmosphere and when guys come in, they don’t really have a choice but to act just like the leaders on the team.

On potential playoff matchups: Ideally, you don’t want to see Miami. We’ve had some success against Indiana. You look at the way they’ve been playing, they have some internal troubles and chmistry issues going on, so being in the 7th spot playing Indiana, might not be a bad situation, but ideally you want to face the three seed, possibly facing Toronto or Chicago, but if they end up at seven and play Indiana, I don’t think that’s a horrible situation to be in.
