16 teams left in the tournament and  each one can still win it all.

Brackets are busted.

Dreams of being a billionaire are long gone.

So now I can look at the remaining teams and give myself some odds.

The NCAA tournament is down to the sweet-sixteen, we can look at who has the best shot to cut down the nets in Dallas, Texas.

These are in no order, these are just the teams that I look at having the best chance to being crowned a National Champion.

Michigan State came into the tournament as a hot pick and they are still alive in the tourney. Tom Izzo will take his experienced team against Virginia in the next round.

Virginia is a team I think can continue to make noise in the tournament. A team that is tops in the country in points allowed, will make you work for every point you get. Tony Bennett’s squad looks calm, and its senior leadership will help in their next contest.

Florida is favored in many brackets and they haven’t disappointed. Florida is an older squad with the ability to score the ball, this is always a deadly combination come tourney time. Point guard play is essential at tournament time, and Florida has little worry at this position.

Louisville is a hot team. The defending National Champions have been there before and they seem poised to make it back to the National Championship game.  However, Kentucky is eager to take down their in-state rival again this season and upset the Cardinals.

Next we have Wisconsin, this defensive dominate team will work you and the shot- clock until there is no time left. People call Wisconsin a team that grinds it out, this is important when its a possession-by-possession game.

Now my dark horse team of the remaining teams; Tennessee continues to play impressive basketball. If they get past Michigan look for this team to make a hard push. Confidence is a killer and Tennessee has plenty of it.

With all that said, the way this college basketball season has been any team left could make a real championship push. Teams like Kentucky have all the talent in the world but haven’t shown consistency this year to play together.
