FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Robeson County sheriff’s deputies have found the motorcycle stolen from a disabled veteran prior to  going on his honeymoon.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said the Harley Davidson Heritage Softail was found intact in a wooded area and has been returned for safe keeping until Calvin Teeple can come back to get it.

Authorities said the 66-year-old Teeple of White Mills, Pa., was in the Hope Mills area last month when the bike was stolen while it was secured on a trailer which was parked in his son-in-law’s driveway.

The sheriff’s office said Teeple and his wife were en route to Florida to celebrate their marriage and had stopped over in Cumberland County to visit family.
