The car that represents a man and a legacy will be back on track. For most its time to see the car back, rubbing fenders and causing havoc.

But for others the legacy and memories are to great, too everlasting to need the numbers return. Some will look at the action as a turn in NASCAR’s history books and others will see a page that never should have been printed.

For those that continue to long for the days of the Intimidator and the car tearing through the field, you may just get your wish but in the face of another man.

There will only be one Earnhardt that scared the souls of other drivers and created armies among fans.

The thunder of Daytona will roll on and so will the car that helped build a legend.
