Near the end of the Heat’s 104-96 overtime win against the Bobcats Saturday night, the Heat’s hometown announcers, Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino, from Sun Sports, had a message when fans started leaving before the game had ended. Earlier in the night, during a stop in the action, the Bobcats mocked bandwagon Heat fans on the scoreboard. The crowd roared with laughter throughout the bit which included mocking Heat fans for leaving Game 6 of the NBA Finals early, but the Heat announcers didn’t find it amusing.

Fiorentino referred to it as, “Tasteless.” He also suggested the league should be notified about the skit. Reid said the video wasn’t, “tasteful or appropriate for any team to mock another team in the NBA, especially when you’re a Charlotte franchise that’s been to the playoffs once in nine years and you’re making two straight championships.” So remember, tastefulness is influenced directly by your playoff victories.
