“We’re looking forward to dominating the gameicon1 Captain Munnerlyn Talks Panthers Playoff Game Against 49ers & Philip Rivers Trash Talking and getting the win,” says Munnerlyn.  But the Captain and the team’s main goal is to win the Super Bowl this year.

A lot of the player’s contracts are up this year including Cam Newton, ‘Money Team’ Greg Hardy, and Captain himself, but as negotiations of contracts start in the offseason, Captain Munnerlyn still wants to remain a Carolina Panther.

“I don’t wanna go no where.  I wanna stay in the city.  I love Charlotte,” says Munnerlyn.  This Gamecock also went to college at the University of South Carolina which is only an hour away from the Queen City.

And for his name being “Captain,” the Panthers cornerback says that his grandmother got to name the last child from Munnerlyn’s mom

“Growing up it was tough.  I got all the jokes: Captain Crunch, Captain D’s,” says Munnerlyn jokingly. “And now I scared my son. His name is Captain Munnerlyn Jr.”

Previewing the upcoming 49ers playoff game, Captain believes that if Michael Crabtree touches the ball, then “he’s going to knock him out” on the field.
