Wilmington Man Fatally Stabbed In Domestic Dispute
WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — A teenager has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing of a man in what police say was a domestic dispute at a Wilmington home.
Authorities said 32-year-old Martin Yakimovich was attacked around 11 p.m. Friday and died a short time later at the hospital.
Investigators say Yakimovich got into an argument with 19-year-old Shelby Lentz before he was stabbed. Authorities say Lentz ran from the home after the attack, but later turned himself into police.
Lentz is being held in the New Hanover County jail. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
