Uptown Charlotte Shooting Leaves Two Injured

(CBS Charlotte) — Shortly after 10 p.m. last night, CMPD and Medics were dispatched to a shots fired call in Uptown Charlotte.

Upon arrival, they found two people suffering from gun shot wounds. The incident happened at the intersection of North Tryon Street and West 10th Street, in close proximity to the NC Dance Theater.

One victim suffered life-threatening injuries during the shooting.

Police are still investigating and have not named any suspects in the shooting.

The area where the shooting occurred is a known hang out spot for homeless individuals.
