Investigators Believe Erica Parsons May Be Dead
(CBS Charlotte) — The case of a Rowan County teen missing for two years has received national attention, and despite the national headlines, to date, Erica Parsons has not been found.
In August 2013, local, state and federal investigators began searching a Rowan County site where Parsons lived before she disappeared nearly two years before.
A warrant filed at the Rowan County Court House earlier this week reveals that during two different searches around a red shed on Erica’s grandparents property, four out of five search dogs signaled to the possible presence of human remains. However, Erica’s remains have not been found.
Erica’s adoptive parents, Casey and Sandy Parsons have not been charged with a crime, however, they remain potential suspects in the case.
