CAUTION. Many of these numbers will frighten you and bring back bad memories from Sunday night’s Panthers- Saints game.  But, they will educate you on why Sunday was so lopsided and what the Cats need to do to win the rematch.

22= Drew Brees had 22 completions in 26 attempts for 230 yards and had 3 tds when the Panthers rushed 4 men or less on Sunday.

8- Brees had 8 completions in 16 attempts against the Panther blitz.  He also threw his one interception against the blitz.  Could be a sign there will be more blitzing next time our.

4- Passes of 20 ore more yards a game the Panthers are throwing (Surprisingly, the same number they threw last year in Chud’s offense)

1- They are only completing one of those deep passes a game and last year they completed 2 per contest.

12- Brees completed 12 of 17 passes thrown longer than 10 yards in the air on Sunday.  Cam completed 0.

3- Panther DEs had just 3 QB disruptions vs the Saints.

147- Was Brees’ QB rating when throwing at Drayton Florence.

5- Average  number of sacks allowed by the Panthers in their 4 losses (20 total)

2- They give up slightly less than 2 sacks a game in their 9 wins.

16- Cam had 16 yards passing on the 17 plays the Saints pressured him on Sunday.

5- He was sacked on 5 of those plays.
