CBS Sports Will Brinson Is Ready For The Superbowl In NYC
Will Brinson from CBS Sports talks with Marc James from The Drive about the Superbowl being played in New York City, if the Panthers can bounce back against the Saints in another week when they come to Carolina, and we discuss the track record of Marty Hurney in the NFL Draft.
We first start with the CBS Sports reporter about the Superbowl being in New York this winter.
“I’m excited for it, I got excited for it when I saw that Eagles/Lions game this weekend”
“I think it will be unique and interesting”
There are some serious politics behind getting the Superbowl in your city. “They want to reward people that build new stadiums…If you build a new stadium there is a much better chance of you getting the Superbowl”
Marty Hurney didn’t have the best track record for the Panthers in the draft what does Will think about that. “Alshon Jeffery is a guy that had the Panthers taken in the second round the Panthers offense would be much better right now”
The Panthers game against the Saints was flexed to Sunday night this past week so we ask Will why the next Saints Panthers game in Charlotte wouldn’t be flexed to at least a 4p game.
“This is one of those games that if you are high quality team and you come off big loss like that you need a game to bounce back and the Jets can be that game.”
