The SEC Delivers Once Again
I don’t think that the SEC will win a national championship in college football this year, and I am perfectly okay with that if that’s the case.
I mean come on guys, enough is enough already, seven in a row ia plenty. So I along with some others have grown tired of seeing the SEC hoist the crystal in January and then having to hear about it for the next seven months.
But one thing that has not gotten old is seeing the SEC put on the best show in college football on Saturday afternoons.
I would bet that a lot of us would gladly trade places with Verne Lundquist or Gary Danielson up in the booth, as they have time after time this year watched with the best seats in the house fantastic game after fantastic game.
Whether it was Georga/LSU or Georgia/Auburn, or Alabama/LSU, no one who loves college football could have come away from a Saturday afternoon of SEC football without being throughly entertained.
The icing on the cake was last Saturday’s epic on the plains between the Tide and the Tigers that had more omg moments than a conversation between two teenage girls.
As the Nature Boy once said “you might not like it but you better respect it cause it is the best thing going today.”
So put four or so hours aside and enjoy the SEC Championship, you know that it will be epic.
